Welcome to
Anchorage Hillside Rotary Club's home on the web.
We are a
morning club. Hillside is small in size but large in the spirit of Rotary. You could not
find a better way to start your day than visiting our club, enjoying our fellowship,
having a good breakfast, and participating in a great program that will have you
ready to face the day with a smile and good positive attitude.
Hillside is a
"can do" club. We have several successful ongoing projects. They are successful because
our individual club members are empowered to practice the mantra of Rotary - "Service
Above Self". Our big fundraiser each year is "Moose Marble Madness." We participate in a
scholastic scholarship program, the Anchorage Charity Walk, two road cleanups a year as well
as many smaller projects that arise throughout the year. This year we are working, in partnership
with several other District Rotary Clubs, the University of Washington and Rotary International
on an Ethiopian Water project. Another great International project we have started this year
involves one of our members who is deployed in Iraq. Our club, with his coordination has been
supporting not only our troops in his sector but also the citizens in the area. We, as a club,
practice our Club's Motto: "Service Above Self".

a makeup - join us. I know you will enjoy our meeting and we always enjoy visiting with our fellow
Rotarians. Currently we are meeting at Denny's located on the corner of Denali and Benson every
Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m.
